The student will be required to read the Old Testament & New Testament over the course of the two semesters. Class instruction will cover a chronological survey of the books of the Bible. Attention will be given to general information of each book, the author, its background, history, theme, and overall outline.

This course of study introduces the student to the proper methods, examination and investigation of Biblical teachings.

This course is designed to give a foundational knowledge of the major teachings of the Bible that cover the tenets of faith. A study designed to survey major fundamental doctrines of the Bible.
Pastoral Theology

This course is a study of the Church age from Christ to the present. Emphasis is given to Church distinctive characteristics, heritage, and history.
Pa 102 Comparative Religions…………………..2 Semester Hours
This course is an introductory study of established world religions and prominent emerging religions in our culture.
Pa 103 Introduction to Homiletics………….……2 Semester Hours
The student is introduced to sermon preparation and presentation and given a clear understanding of various sermon styles and methods while stressing the importance of contextual integrity to the Scriptures.
Pa 104 Advanced Homiletics……………………2 Semester Hours
This course is a continuum on sermon preparation and presentation emphasizing expository preaching along with various presentation skills.
Mission’s Theology
Mi 101 Evangelism (Personal)…………………..2 Semester Hours
This course is a study and practicum of the techniques of soul-winning personal witnessing. Scripture memorization and role play will be emphasized.

This course is a continuum of Mi101 and includes a soul-winning practicum with considerations of different local church evangelistic and outreach techniques.

This class offers a comprehensive course of study emphasizing the Biblical Basis of missions in the local church.
Mi 104 Introduction to Missions………………...2 Semester Hours
The focus of this course is the practical application of mission work in a local church from the pastor’s viewpoint as well as that of the missionary, and membership.
Language Theology

A study of grammar, sentence and word structure applied through various writing assignments.
Pr Practicum
Pr 101/102/201/202 Seminar…………………...1 Semester Hour
These are required seminars each semester that will address various subject matters germane to the work of pastors and missionaries. Guest speakers will be invited to expose students to specialized men and women in various ministries.
Ministry Practicum
This practicum is required prior to the completion of sophomore year in order to receive an Associates of Theology from this School. This will be a six week supervised internship under a seasoned pastor and is subject to satisfactory performance as well as completion of a short thesis (proper thesis form) chronicling their experience and lessons learned will be due six weeks after the completion of their practicum.
This practicum is required prior to receiving a Bachelor of Theology and Missions degree. Students will spend time with an Interstate missionary on the field. A short thesis (proper thesis form) chronicling their experience and lessons learned will be due six weeks after the completion of their practicum.
Mission Practicum II
This practicum is required prior to receiving a Bachelor of Theology and Missions degree. Students will spend two weeks on the field with a foreign missionary. A short thesis (proper thesis form) chronicling their experience and lessons learned will be due at six weeks after the completion of the Practicum.
